Previously he worked at Gimlet Media, where he hosted Undone, a show that revisited major national news events from the recent past, and helped create Uncivil, a show that tells the unofficial history of the Civil War, which won a 2017 Peabody Award.

Alyssa Jeong Perry is an audio reporter and producer. Currently, she is a podcast producer at NPR, where she produces and reports on "Code Switch."Previously, Perry was a health reporter at KPCC. She has also worked for KQED and The Center for Investigative Reporting's "Reveal" podcast.Perry received her B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara and her M.A. in Journalism from the University of California Berkeley.
